Why should I engage or attend? Getting involved ahead of a full submission to the Planning Authority and Energy Consents Unit (ECU) is the most influential stage of a major energy infrastructure project. If the local community looks to have a greater say, and influence conditions or design, this is one of the key times to engage in the development. All welcome.
What’s on? A half hour meeting & open community liaison session on the proposed Carn Na Saobhaidh Wind Farm, with RES as Developer, which precedes the SNCC’s Monthly Meeting.
When? Following the drop-in exhibition & community consultation on Monday 21 September 2026 at the later time of 7-7.30pm (in the Bunachton Room)
Where? Farr Community Hall, with exhibition in the main hall (from 1-7pm); followed by the open Community Liaison Session (7-7.30pm) in the Bunachton Room. All welcome.
Can’t make it along? You can attend online; as per joining instructions for SNCC meeting. All welcome.
