Strathnairn Hall in Daviot West
Welcome to Strathnairn Hall in Daviot West.

History of the hall:
Also referred to as Daviot Hall (but becomes confusing with the one under the same name in Inverurie), it was originally built in the early 1900 as a wooden construction which served the community until it was replaced in 1979 by the current building. The old hall was demolished by volunteers who had, over the previous years, managed to raise the funds for the new hall through events run by the then committee and a loan was a local resident.
In the early 1990s, a grant was obtained from the Trustee Savings Bank (TSB) who were offering grants for community halls. This enabled the hall to be insulated and a kitchen refit.
What next?
We are currently looking into getting Wi-Fi access. And we need to upgrade the toilets and kitchen area to name a few things. More on this to come.
