Academic year timetable and fees – 2024-25
Tuesdays
Strathnairn Music Group
- 7.15-8.15pm
- £4 per session (payable in advance per block)
August 27th to October 8th (7 weeks)
October 29th to December 10th (6 weeks)
January 7th to February 11th (6 weeks)
February 25th to April 1st (6 weeks)
April 22nd to June 24th (8 weeks) – Community Concert 14th June – there may be changes with concert rehearsals during this term.
Wednesdays
Group Instrument Lessons
- 3-7.30pm
- £4.50 per session (payable in advance per block)
Fun Music Session
- 4-4.30pm
- £3 per session (payable in advance per block)
Singing for P1-P6 Children
- 5-5.30pm
- £3 per session (payable in advance per block)
Singing for P7+ Children
- 5.30-6pm
- £3 per session (payable in advance per block)
Singing for Adults
- 7.45-9.15pm
- £4 per session payable in advance per block or £5 payable per session in person
Term 1: August 28th to October 9th (7 weeks of lessons)
Term 2: October 30th to December 11th (6 weeks of lessons)
- December 11th = seasonal ensemble: 1 hour timetabled slots for students to play seasonal music in groups with mixed instruments.
Term 3a: January 8th to February 12th (5 weeks of lessons)
- One of these dates will be a music teacher’s meeting with no lessons – kept flexible due to likelihood of snow days
Term 3b: February 26th to April 2nd (6 weeks of lessons)
Term 4: April 23rd to June 25th (8 weeks of lessons)
- June 4th and 11th will be concert rehearsals with separate timetables, and are not included in the term’s fees
- Saturday June 14th is the Community Concert: full rehearsal 9-10.15am, concert 10.30am-12.30pm.
- June 25th will include the possiblity of taster sessions for those thinking of learning an instrument.
