WHERE & WHEN IS IT HELD?
Farr Pitches – adjacent to Farr Community Hall – on Saturday 20 September 2025 @ 12.00-17.00hrs.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Everybody is welcome along; it’s entirely open to the whole community, visitors to Farr and tourists alike. It’s held on Farr Pitches, adjacent to the Community Hall (which gives access to toilets etc), so it’s fully accessible and inclusive. Please share widely with friends and family.
WHAT’S ON?
Many activities and other forms of local entertainment are already confirmed or will be shortly. Our selection of entertainment has been curated to appeal to the whole community and for all ages. Live Music & Entertainment includes Eilidh & The Energy Facebook.
WILL THERE BE CATERING OR FOOD & DRINK THERE?
Several local caterers & pop-up food stalls are confirmed. Back by popular demand is Inverness’s La Tortilla Asesina (serving Spanish tapas, paella etc) & Miele’s Gelateria (serving icecream galore), among others.
WHO IS CONTRIBUTING LOCALLY TO OR SUPPORTING THE EVENT?
Local support comes from the following community organisations: Strathnairn Crafting Connections; Strathnairn Connect; Strathnairn Development Company; Strathnairn Farmers Association; SCATA and others. A full list of contributors or thanks will come direct from the organisers in due course.
HOW CAN I GET THERE?
The SCATA bus will be doing the rounds at the GALA. This is through pre bookings only on farrgalacommittee@gmail.com. We encourage you to walk or wheel if you are local and you can; or if you plan to arrive by car, limited parking is available at Farr Hall. There will also be the public bus in from Inverness.
