Welcome to the Upgraded & Extended Farr Community Hall
Not visited yet? Works are now complete, with only minor finishing details remaining. All new furniture for the front of the hall is expected to be in place by the end of April. As part of this a large flat-screen television and media stick have been purchased to provide a digital display for information and notices in the main lobby.
Come along to the planned ‘Doors Open Afternoon’, on Saturday 09 May 2026 (times TBC). This is your opportunity to come along to a locally-led ‘Doors Open Afternoon’. Experience first-hand the completed phase of works, and see how this benefits the community, bolsters local groups as well as supports individuals and local business. The latest phase of works include the refurbishment and upgrading of several areas, the expansion and reworking of the entrance, along with internal and external works to improve the overall facilities for the community which it serves etc. Refreshments will be provided on the day.
Planned community installation of New Bike Shelter & Volunteer Input Needed
External Grant secured for New Bike Shelter Funding of £2,500 has been received from Energy Efficiency Scotland for a bike shelter. The bike shelter kit will be purchased and installed by volunteers and will be located at the corner of the path adjacent to the cherry tree.
Look to lend a hand? With the above funding in place, the Farr Hall Team are looking for community volunteers to assist with the installation of the shelter.
