UPDATE (Jan 2026)
Galileo Empower Ltd have revised the current scheme, making several changes. This includes:
- Proposed reduction of 2 turbines to the layout (taking the total to 12 from 14 x 200m high turbines); Lynemore Wind Farm AI Figure 2.4 Design Iterations rev01 (1)
- Rerouting of the access track (among other amendments); Lynemore Wind Farm AI Figure 2.4 Design Iterations rev01 (1)
- This is currently with ECU for approval; and when live will appear as a news update to Galileo’s site here Press Releases – Galileo Empower UK and on the ECU here Scottish Government – Energy Consents Unit – Application Details
- SCC are advised by the Developer that this will go through in Jan 2026.

Forthcoming In-Person Engagement Session 4 | Farr Community Hall | Feb 2026 (TBC)
- Strathnairn Community Council (SCC) is in the process of agreeing a date with Galileo Empower to hold an In-Person Engagement Session in Farr Community Hall.
- It is anticipated that this will be from the mid-end of February 2026, on a Thursday or Friday.
- This is therefore provisionally being entered in the Strathnairn Community calendar and news update – so it is in people’s sights – and will be fully confirmed in due course.
