Road & shared-use path between Farr School & Playpark- 8th Dec

Works to complete the carriageway and shared-use path provision between Farr Primary School and Farr Playpark will commence next week on Monday 8th December.

Temporary Traffic Lights will be in operation although delays will be minimal.  School Wood car park will be used as a small compound in the far-left rear corner. Plant will not mobilise during the school opening and closing periods to reduce risk to children and parents when accessing and moving through the car park to/from the school.

Works will complete the path connection on the School side, provide a short length path on the opposite side for access to/from the Playpark and provide an informal crossing point and the carriageway will be widened to the same width as provided either end and new surface course provide to complete this section and remove the conflicts that presently exist.  Works to the adjacent private ground including their access will be carried out in due course.  Duration will be a few weeks of work either side of the Christmas holidays and timescale will be weather dependent.
