Galileo Windfarm Farr Hall drop‑in Friday 27th February, 9am – 2.30pm

**COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS WILL BE ATTENDED BY**

Strathnairn Community Council (SNCC) has requested an extension from the Scottish Government to submit its official response to the revised Lynemore Wind Farm proposal (Ref: ECU00005105).
This is because the updated design and consultation timelines only recently came to SNCC’s attention.  Galileo has released an accessible summary responding to key concerns from Strathnairn & Strathdearn Community Councils and local residents. Lynemore Response to CCs – Feb 2026 – Digital
Why is an extension needed?
  • The revised proposal was issued to SNCC late, and the community team—run by volunteers—were still learning the process for revised applications. 
  • The community hall has been undergoing construction, so the earliest possible date for the community engagement session is Friday, 27 February 2026
  • The current deadline for comments is 6 April 2026.  
How can residents submit their own representations?
The following information has been shared, based on recent clarification from a neighbouring community council:

SNCC has asked the Scottish Government to confirm that both submission methods are valid and will update the community once confirmed > Now confirmed as yes.
