A9 MILTON OF LEYS (BOGBAIN) JUNCTION – DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be recommencing essential drainage improvement works on the southbound A9 trunk road at the Milton of Leys (Bogbain) junction which had been paused due to inclement winter weather. Please find enclosed a location plan, which details the works extents.

The works are programmed to restart at the Milton of Leys (Bogbain) junction from Monday 1st to Friday 5th December, between 7.30pm and 6am each night.

Due to the nature of the works it will be necessary to close the southbound on slip at Milton of Leys (Bogbain) during the works. This is to ensure the safety of our workforce and members of the public, which is of paramount importance.

From Monday 1st to Friday 5th December, inclusive, the southbound on slip will be closed overnight. A signed diversion route will be in place for vehicles wishing to access the southbound A9 at Milton of Leys (Bogbain) junction. Traffic will be diverted via the B9177 and B9006 and then join the southbound A9 at the B9006 Culloden Road (Inshes) junction.

BEAR Scotland and Transport Scotland wish to thank the local community and motorists in advance for their patience during these essential works, which have been planned overnight in order to reduce disruption.
