Glenmarkie Wind Farm Proposal
Vattenfall is in the early stages of exploring a potential wind farm proposal at Glenmarkie in the Scottish Highlands. The site lies approximately 16km east of the village of Fort Augustus and 8km south-east from the settlement of Whitebridge.

The current planning consent will expire in December 2030. As a result of assessment work which has been undertaken in relation to Nadara's fleet of operational wind turbines and their ability to operate for longer than was originally envisaged, there is an opportunity for Farr Wind Farm to continue to generate clean electricity beyond the current consent expiry date.
