Strathnairn Photographic Competition | Awards & Prize Giving | 31 May 25
Over Spring 2025, following the launch of the website and to increase local engagement, Strathnairn Community Council held a Photographic Competition centred around one of three themes: Community, Landscape or Wildlife.
Anybody local and residing within the Community, regardless of age, was fully eligible to enter.

With the competition close on 05 May 2025 – and several high quality submissions received – the process of judging is now underway.
JUDGES
In determining the prize winners, SCC are assisted by Claire Ball and Duncan Ireland. Both are professional photographers – often working locally – and have accepted the role as independent judges.

PRIZES
Winner / first place award = Single award of £300.00 as a cash prize
Runners Up = Two further awards of £150.00 each as a cash prize
AWARDS
Results, awards & prizing giving ceremony will be held on Saturday 31 May 2025 – between 12 noon and 1pm – at Farr Community Hall.
