Strathnairn Stargazing Group’s Andy MacGregor, Chair & Julie Macrae (Project Advisor to Strathnairn Community Council) are teaming up with Highland Astronomical Society’s (HAS) Pauline Macrae, Chair & Gael Hillyard, for short talks and conversations around Scotland’s Dark Skies (informed by local reference to Strathnairn & Inverness’s observations and experience); and with reference to the wider Highlands as it goes through a period of transformational change.

As a result of assessment work which has been undertaken in relation to Nadara's fleet of operational wind turbines and their ability to operate for longer than was originally envisaged, there is an opportunity for Farr Wind Farm to continue to generate clean electricity beyond the current consent expiry date.
