The Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie Rivers Trust is currently surveying for Japanese knotweed along the Nairn catchment. Recent work suggests it may be present further upstream than previously thought, potentially as far as Clava Lodge and beyond.
This is a good time of year to spot Japanese knotweed as it is nearing maximum growth.
