SSE Aberarder Wind Farm Grid Connection (SSEN Transmission) & Community Update
For grid connection, the project includes around 5km of new overhead line, linking the wind farm to the existing electricity network. Following further engineering work, steel twin-pole structures are now proposed instead of wooden poles; deemed better suited to the local terrain and weather conditions.
