Notification of temporary 24 hr traffic signals on the A9 between Tomatin and Moy and temporary realignment of the A9 at Dalmagarry.
As part of our ongoing commitment to engage with the local community, we are writing to advise you of upcoming traffic management being implemented on the A9 trunk road between Tomatin and Moy to allow for the excavation and installation of large pipes which are necessary to carry out a future diversion of the Dalmagarry Burn below the A9.
From 6 May 2025 for approximately three weeks, temporary traffic signals will be in place on the A9 opposite Dalmagarry Farm, approximately 2.5km north of the Tomatin Junction to safely manage traffic entering the temporary realignment. The traffic signals will be in place 24 hours a day and will be manually controlled to manage queues, as required. Road users in both directions will be directed on to a short length of temporary single lane carriageway around the works area before rejoining the A9.
