Upcoming traffic management at Lynebeg and Tomatin 13 to 24 July

Construction of the new Lynebeg and Tomatin underpasses is progressing well as part of the A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy project.

The next stage of works involves installing large structural beams at both underpasses. To allow this work to be carried out safely, intermittent temporary traffic signals will be in place during daytime hours between 13 and 24 July.

13–17 July
Temporary traffic signals may be in operation:
• On the A9 at Tomatin North Junction to allow beams to be moved from storage.
• On the B9154 Moy Road (near the new railway bridge) to allow construction vehicles to access the Lynebeg Underpass site.

20–24 July
Temporary traffic signals may also be in operation on the New Tomatin Link Road while beams are transported safely across the road.

Signals will operate on an all-red phase for up to three minutes at a time, with a maximum of 20 activations per daybetween 8:00am and 7:00pm.

We do not expect these short, infrequent traffic holds to result in significant disruption, and we thank all road users for their patience while these important works are carried out safely.
