Strathnairn Development Company (SDC: https://strathnairndevelopment.scot/) is recruiting two part-time CDOs to help implement the hopes and aspirations of the community of Strathnairn as set out in the Community Action Plan (CAP) and in the Local Place Plan. Each of these two part-time posts are 17.5 hours per week with salaries of £17.5k and are pensionable. The primary roles will be to work with the SDC, community groups, young people and residents to help implement and refresh the Community Action Plan (CAP) (https://strathnairndevelopment.scot/community-action-plan/)and to help in sourcing funding.
Job Title: Community Development Officer (CDOs) – one specialising in helping identify and writing applications for funding, the other focusing on working with community groups and others to implement the CAP.
Basics of the posts: These are 2 part-time posts initially for 3 years each with an annual salary of £17.5k
Location: Farr Hall, in the community and home working
